Our History

In 1952, Gérard Fresnet decided to bottle his own champagne. To carry out his project, he renovated an old family cellar in Verzy, at the heart of his vineyard, which is located on the terroirs of Verzy and Bisseuil.

The Verzy terroir is located on the Grande Montagne de Reims, where the vines are planted with 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay. Verzy is renowned for being home to the vines of prestigious Houses.

The Bisseuil terroir is located in the Grande Vallée de la Marne, where the vines are planted with 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir.

These terroirs express themselves in the estates’ champagnes, with their own power and scents.
